The final episode of the TBS Friday drama "Takusari Brothers," starring actor Masaki Okada and also featuring Shota Sometani, aired on June 19th. Atsuko Sendo's portrayal of Fumi Karashima drew criticism on social media.

After hearing the truth about the incident from Fumi 31 years ago, Minoru (Someya) pointed a gun at Sadao (Nagae Hidekazu). Fumi, looking flustered, explained that by the time "Mocchan," or Mogi (Yamanaka Takashi), visited the Tagasari family on the day of the incident, Sakutaro (Wada Masato) and the others were already dead. She then made Minoru lower the gun.
After Minoru and Makoto (Okada) left, Koike (Kishitani Goro) came to Fumi and the others. Seeing Fumi's expression, Koike instinctively knew that Makoto and the others had learned the truth about the incident.
"My husband committed a crime for my sake. Now it's my turn to protect him," Fumi told Koike. She admitted that everything she had done up until now was wrong, and resigned herself to the situation, saying, "I have no intention of running away anymore. When those children come back, I intend to accept everything."
On social media, viewers are openly booing. "I bet Sadao and his wife will go mountain climbing next week, which Fumi loves (unforgivable)," "Fumi's behavior was so sneaky and blame-shifting, yet she acted like she was some kind of good person, it was really disgusting," "I'm still pissed off at how relieved Fumi looked when Minoru put down the gun and left," "She said she'd be happy if those brothers came back, but if they don't, she'll just continue living as a successful photographer as before," "Fumi is the worst. I can't forgive anything about her," are some of the angry comments spreading.
