"One Day Her Panties..." by Kato Yobi, which won the Grand Prize at the 49th Creative Television Drama Awards co-sponsored by the Japan Broadcasting Writers Association and NHK, has been adapted into a television drama. It's a story about a couple living their ordinary lives with a slightly humorous atmosphere, but a major commotion that ensues after an incident involving the wife's panties changes the relationship between the two.
One windy day, Sota Namiki (played by Kura) was bringing in the laundry when he dropped his wife Yui's (played by Yamashita) panties into the river in front of their house. Unable to retrieve them immediately, Sota couldn't get the panties out of his head. That night, unable to bear it any longer, he entered the river to try and retrieve the panties, causing a huge commotion.
Yui finds the incident amusing and draws a manga about it. This manga prompts Sota to take a bold step... Shunsuke Kazama also appears as Hideki Sera, Yui's manga editor.
