Episode 8 of the TV anime "Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!!", based on Harunori's "classic BL comedy" manga, titled "Pinch! A Rival Appears!?", will air on TOKYO MX and other channels from late night on May 20th.
The second semester has begun. Nakamura has been entrusted with Hirose's gym clothes to return to her, but a certain internal conflict begins when she is left alone in the classroom. After school, Nakamura is overjoyed when Hirose invites her to walk home together, but a handsome guy from another school is waiting for her at the school gate. He seems like the perfect guy, but his true identity is revealed... and the story unfolds from there.
"Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!!" is a popular series that depicts the fantasies and reckless actions surrounding the unrequited love of shy high school student Nakamura Otokoto for his classmate Hirose Aiki, all in a nostalgic 1980s-90s style. The manga is published by Heroes. The anime is directed by Umeki Aoi, who also handles the script and character design. Drive is producing the anime. Chiaki Kobayashi voices Nakamura Otokoto and Sakakibara Yuki voices Hirose Aiki. It is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other channels.
