The seventh episode of the drama series "Toki Sude ni Osushi!?" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10 PM), starring actress Hiromi Nagasaku, aired on May 19th, and it has been revealed that the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region) was 5.9% for households and 3.4% for individuals. The 5.9% household rating is tied for the program's highest rating.
The drama tells the story of Minato Machiyama (played by Nagasaku), who, having finished raising her children, is bewildered by the newfound free time she has at the age of 50, but begins her second life and jumps into a "sushi academy" where she can become a sushi chef in three months. The cast includes Kenichi Matsuyama, First Summer Uika, Motoki Nakazawa, Soma Santoki, and Shiro Sano.
Episode 7 was broadcast under the title "Everyday, Bri".
Minato is unable to grasp the core of Nagisa's (Nakazawa) feelings, and is invited by Nagisa to go somewhere together. Meanwhile, Oedo's (Matsuyama) ex-wife, Mio (Shiori Doi), reappears and forcefully leaves his pug, Hotate, in his care, citing moving preparations as the reason. Minato is consulted by Oedo, who has an unavoidable errand, and readily agrees to look after Hotate. To pick her up, Oedo sets foot in the Machiyama house for the first time.
Then one day, after class, Minato encounters Mio, who is waiting for Oedo... and that's how the story unfolds.
