The sixth episode of the drama series "Reborn ~The Last Hero~" (TV Asahi, Tuesdays at 9 PM), starring actor Issei Takahashi, aired on May 19th, and it has been revealed that the average viewership ratings (according to Video Research, Kanto region) were 5.4% for households and 3.0% for individuals, making it the second highest rating for the program.
The drama tells the story of a man who is reborn as a different person and given a second chance at life. Takahashi plays two roles: Mitsunori Neo, an IT company president who has achieved great wealth and fame and is called a "charisma of the times," and Hideto Nomoto, the heir to a dry cleaning business. Other cast members in the drama include Anne Nakamura, Ouji Suzuka, Mayu Yokota, Fumiyo Kohinata, and Masachika Ichimura.
In episode 6, Hideto, who has become an advisor to NEOXIS, advises them to reconsider their Tokyo Olympics-related projects and bank acquisitions. However, the executives don't take him seriously. Meanwhile, Yoshitaka Togo (Masachika Ichimura) and the president of Soman, Hitoshi Ichimanda (Yoshiyuki Tsubokura), ask him to demonstrate his "ability to foresee the future" by giving him horse racing predictions.
Around the same time, in order to save Hideko Murota (Kayoko Kishimoto) from a predicament, the Akari Shopping Street also decides to bet on horse racing, and uses "memories of the future" to predict the outcome of the race...and that's how the story unfolds.
