The fourth episode of the TBS Friday drama "Takusari Brothers," starring actor Masaki Okada and also featuring Shota Sometani, aired on May 8th. Suspicion spread on social media regarding Koike (Goro Kishitani), who was in charge of the "Takusari Family Murder Case" in the past and is now Makoto's (Okada) direct superior.

The drama follows detective Makoto Tagasari and medical examiner Minoru (played by Shota Sometani) as they investigate heinous crimes that occur daily and pursue the true culprit in the murder of two parents, a case that reached its statute of limitations just two days before the abolition of the statute of limitations. This is the latest work from producer Junko Arai, who has worked on hit crime suspense works such as the film "Last Mile" and the dramas "Unnatural," "MIU404," and "Saiai."
Koike is a police inspector and head of the violent crimes section of the Criminal Investigation Division at the Aomori Police Station, leading the team with calm and collected judgment.
Makoto and Minoru were talking about the key found among Tsuda's (Kazuki Iio) belongings. Makoto had hidden the key, which was a clue leading to the "Takusari Family Murder Case," in the pocket of his suit.
"Take out what you just put in."
Koike came to where Makoto and Minoru were and warned them, "That will be kept by the violent crimes division in the jurisdiction until the bereaved family is found. If you take it without permission, you will be subject to disciplinary action."
Seeing that Makoto and Minoru showed no reaction, Koike declared, "Stop it. It's pointless to investigate any further. Tsuda didn't kill your parents." To the two who were still confused, Koike confessed that he had once investigated the "Takusari family murder case."
"They were still so young, so it's understandable that they didn't notice," Koike reminisced. He revealed that he was the detective who promised the young Makoto and Minoru at the time that he would definitely catch the culprit.
