To commemorate the May 8th release of "The Irregular at Magic High School: Yotsuba Succession Arc," the theatrical anime film based on the popular light novel series "The Irregular at Magic High School " from Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA), the original author Tsutomu Satou and the original illustrator Kana Ishida have provided comments.
Sajima commented, "The release date for the Yotsuba Succession Arc has finally arrived. The Yotsuba Succession Arc is a climax in the middle of the series and one of the most important parts of the entire series, so it is an unexpected joy for the author to be able to see it on the big screen in theaters. To commemorate the film's release, a "Trivia Generator" has been launched on a special website where users can submit trivia about the movie. Users can enter their thoughts (trivia) and generate an original image.
"The Irregular at Magic High School" is set at the First High School Affiliated with the National Magic University (Magic High School), which trains magic users, and depicts the adventures of siblings Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba. The series has sold over 25 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired in 2014, and the theatrical anime film "The Irregular at Magic High School: The Girl Who Summons the Stars" was released in 2017. The second season of the TV anime, "The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc," aired in 2020, and "The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc" aired on January 1, 2022.
