The second episode of the TV anime "Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!!", based on Harunori's "classic BL comedy" manga, titled "Panic! The Secret Bible!!", will air on TOKYO MX and other channels from late night on April 8th. In the second episode, voice actors Kappei Yamaguchi and Junko Takeuchi will appear, playing characters from the manga "Love Ben!", which Nakamura loves to read in the story. Yamaguchi and Takeuchi previously voiced Nakamura and Hirose in the audio drama version of the same work.
The classroom was thrown into chaos as a rustling black shadow suddenly appeared. While his classmates ran around trying to escape, Nakamura was somehow tasked with dealing with it. Though inwardly terrified, he thought, "Isn't this a chance to look cool in front of Hirose!?" He rolled up his notebook and, with a nervous expression, took one step at a time to close the distance to "it."
This work is a popular series that depicts the fantasies and reckless behavior surrounding the unrequited love of shy high school student Nakamura Otokoto for his classmate Hirose Aiki, all in a style reminiscent of the 1980s and 90s. The comics are published by Heroes.
The anime is directed by Aoi Umeki, who also handles the script and character design. Drive is producing it. Chiaki Kobayashi voices Okuto Nakamura, and Yuki Sakakibara voices Aki Hirose. It is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other channels.
