It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime "Saga of Tanya the Evil," based on Carlo Zen's war fantasy web novel, will begin airing in July. It was also announced that Tomokazu Sugita will reprise his role as Mikel of the Federation Army, and Yoko Hikasa will reprise her role as Lilya, also of the Federation Army.
The first key visual, featuring Tanya, who now leads the Salamander Combat Group, along with Visha, Weiss, and Grantz, who have fought alongside her since the days of the 203rd Air Mage Battalion, has been released. In addition to dynamic scenes of Tanya and her companions, the first main PV has also been released, featuring commanders from the Imperial Army General Staff and members of the multinational volunteer army fiercely resisting the Empire.
"Saga of Tanya the Evil" is a war fantasy series depicting the adventures of a Japanese elite salaryman who is reincarnated in another world as Tanya Degurechaff, a young girl who commands an army. The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2017.
