The TV anime "Uchi no Otouto-domo ga Sumimasen," based on the romantic comedy manga by Akira Ozaki, known for "Arisugawa-san in Wonderland" and "Haru x Kiyo," will begin airing on TOKYO MX, BS11, and other channels starting July 3rd. All 24 episodes will air over two consecutive seasons. It was also announced that Kensho Ono will voice Hiiragi (the third son), and Momoka Terasawa will voice Rui (the fourth son).
Yashiro commented, "When I read the original work, I found the relationships within the Narita family and how they change very interesting, and it also gave me a very warm feeling. "Sorry About My Little Brothers" is a romantic comedy set under one roof. High school girl Narita Ito suddenly becomes the older sister of four unique "little brothers" after her mother remarries. The manga began serialization in "Bessatsu Margaret" (Shueisha) in 2020 and has become a popular work with over 2.8 million copies of the comics sold. A live-action film adaptation starring actress Mei Hata was released in 2024, which also generated a lot of buzz.
The anime will be directed by Hitoshi Nanba, known for works such as "GOSICK," and produced by Lay-duce. Naomi Ohzora will voice Ito Narita, and Toshiki Masuda Masuda will voice Gen Narita.
