It has been announced that the TV anime "The Self-Aware Saintess Continues to Unconsciously Let Her Power Flow Away Today," based on the light novel by Almond, will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other channels in July. The first set of character concept visuals, which focus on the strong emotions of each character, has been released. The first visual depicts Carolina with a somewhat somber expression against the backdrop of a moonlit night, expressing the inferiority complex that Carolina has harbored, having been called a failure and looked down upon by those around her.
The first promotional video, featuring the opening theme "Windmaker" sung by singer Hanae, has also been released. The video begins with the scene where Carolina and Edward's arranged marriage is decided, and depicts how Carolina, who has lived with an inferiority complex and been called a failure, changes after meeting Edward. At the end of the video, Flora delivers the intriguing line, "I will never let you be happy."
Rie Takahashi, who plays Carolina, commented, "Carolina is rumored to be a plain, untalented underachiever. What I've come to realize while playing her is how powerful circumstances and perceptions can be. The things she says are almost as if they've been corrected, and the kindness of her heart, the beauty of her soul, and the wonderful qualities I've discovered in her are things she herself was unaware of...!"

This work, published as a light novel and manga by Earth Star Entertainment, is a popular series with over 1 million copies sold. It's a love story about Carolina, a duke's daughter who has been called a failure and looked down upon by those around her, whose life is turned upside down when she enters into a political marriage with the clumsy second prince of a neighboring country, and how she finds happiness.
The anime will be directed by Mitsutaka Noshitani and produced by Magic Bus and Picante Circus. Takahashi will voice Carolina, Makoto Furukawa will voice Carolina's husband Edward, and Haruka Shiraishi will voice Carolina's sister Flora.
