TV Tokyo's economic news program, "Cambrian Palace," will air a special episode on March 26th at 11:21 PM titled "Ryu Murakami & Eiko Koike Graduation Special." As a special project commemorating 20 years on the show, it will feature interviews with carefully selected top business leaders, looking back at their journeys and current challenges. The program will also reflect on the struggles of Japanese companies over the past 20 years.
The guests were Kozo Takaoka, former president and representative of Nestlé Japan; Kashiwa Sato, representative of Samurai; and Manabu Miyasaka, Vice Governor of Tokyo.
This program follows the unique challenges of three individuals: Takaoka, who nurtures young entrepreneurs; Sato, who teamed up with Naoki Prize-winning author Shogo Imamura to brand "Honmaru," a new type of bookstore and shared bookstore; and Miyasaka, who served as president of Yahoo! Japan and established GovTech Tokyo to advance the city's lagging digital transformation.
Furthermore, the book delves into the latest management strategies of charismatic business leaders who will shape Japan's future, including Akio Toyoda, who at 69 is still behind the wheel as a master driver; Tadashi Yanai, who led Fast Retailing to become a 3 trillion yen company and discovered the secrets to his success in overseas expansion; and SoftBank Group, which has surpassed 7 trillion yen in sales.
Starting with the April 2nd broadcast, "Cambrian Palace" will be hosted by author Hitomi Kanehara and music creator Hyadain.
