It has been announced that actor Ken Matsudaira's signature song, "Matsuken Samba," will be adapted into an anime series called "Matsuken Anime." Short animated episodes will be distributed primarily on YouTube starting in the summer of 2026.
The anime aims to be a bright and positive form of entertainment, with a story of good triumphing over evil, focusing on the "frustration" that people living in modern society feel in their daily lives.
The promotional video will be premiered at the Tatsunoko Production booth at "AnimeJapan 2026," which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto Ward, Tokyo) on March 28th and 29th.
