The final episode of the TBS Tuesday drama "Mirai no Musuko" (Tuesdays at 10 PM), starring actress Mirai Shida, aired on March 24th. The secret behind the birth of Sota (played by Yu Amano) was revealed, and the drama received widespread praise, with viewers saying things like, "I cried so much," and "It was a drama beyond my expectations!"

Sota, who was supposed to be born in January 2031, never appeared before Mirai (Shida) and Masaki (Akihisa Shiono).
As time passed, Mirai and Masao met a man. The man was with a 1-year-8-month-old boy. His name was Sota, and his birthday was January 13th. He had a mole on his wrist, and from this and other details, Mirai and Masao became convinced that the boy was their Sota.
Sota's parents had already passed away, and he had been raised by a single man. Furthermore, it was revealed that his parents called each other "Ma-kun" and "Mii-chan," and that they were the couple Sota had previously mediated a fight between. This also aligned with Sota's time-travel mission to "make Mom and Ma-kun reconcile," and all the events up to that point were connected.
After receiving an offer from the man, Mirai and Masao went through the procedures for special adoption and officially became Sota's parents.
Fans were surprised by the clever way the plot threads were resolved by going back and forth through time, and comments such as "I cried my eyes out during the final episode of Mirai no Musuko.
