77-year-old rakugo performer and TV personality, Katsura Yonesuke, also known as "Yonesuke," will appear on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), airing at 1 PM on March 26th.
Yonesuke, who is well-known for the "Surprise Visit! Dinner at the Neighbor's House" series (Nippon Television Network), has recently been revealed to have interviewed then-Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi about her dinner when she was a young politician.
Yonesuke, who was single for 10 years after his late-life divorce at the age of 66, became depressed due to the loneliness of being single and the drastic decrease in work during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was during this time that he met Yoko, who is 20 years younger than him and used to work in the caregiving field. We went to see their newlywed home and found out what they were having for dinner.
