It has been announced that actresses Miu Suzuki and Ayana Taniguchi will be joining BS-TBS's gourmet talk show "Let's Drink at a Local Chinese Restaurant" (Mondays at 10 PM) as the "third generation of local Chinese restaurant guests" starting in April.
In the 60-minute program, Tamabukuro Kintaro is in charge of the first 30 minutes, and a female cast member is in charge of the last 30 minutes. Until now, the second half featured Hina Higuchi and Kiyota Mikuri, both members of the "Town Chinese Restaurant Second Generation," but Kiyota retired from the entertainment industry at the end of March and will be leaving the program.
According to the station, Suzuki and Taniguchi have been cast in the show as the number of new episodes airing per month will increase from two to three starting in April. The three, including Higuchi, will appear on a rotating weekly basis.
Suzuki was born on April 14, 2000, making her 25 years old. She hails from Kanagawa Prefecture. In 2012, she won the Grand Prix at the 16th Nicola Model Audition and made her debut as a model. She is also active as an actress, playing Bunpink in the Super Sentai series "Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger" (TV Asahi, 2024-2025). Currently, she also works as a reporter for the TBS information program "Ousama no Brunch".
Taniguchi was born on March 2, 1999, making her 27 years old. She hails from Kyoto Prefecture. She began her entertainment career in 2015 and appeared in the dating reality show "Love Catcher Japan 2" (2025). In addition to appearing in numerous streaming dramas, she is also active in various fields, including participating in poker tournaments.

Delicious local Chinese food and delicious alcohol. Is there any show that could be more wonderful?! Is it even allowed to be this good?! Having said that, I've hardly ever had any experience drinking alcohol on a show before, so I'm a little nervous... (laughs).
