The Fuji TV drama series " Soda Master, " starring Takashi Sorimachi, Nao Omori, and Kenjiro Tsuda (Wednesdays at 10 PM), has become a hot topic on social media for its "unconventional" preview of the final episode airing on March 25th.

In episode 10, which aired on March 18th, Yuta (Sorimachi), Hajime (Omori), Kisuke (Tsuda), and Hakuba (Fukumoto Riko) were drinking ramune on a hill in Tanbe City when a strong wind suddenly blew and the sky darkened. The episode ended with Miyashita Michiru (Kiryu Mao), also known as "Matilda," descending from a UFO that appeared on the scene.
In the preview for the next episode that followed, only the upper body of Matilda was shown. After about 14 seconds of Matilda remaining silent, she was depicted with a slight smile.
On social media, it became a hot topic with comments such as, "This is the most daring preview ever for a Japanese drama's next episode," "The preview for the final episode of Soda Master is so original, just showing Matilda silently for over ten seconds!", "It was an original and atmospheric preview that left a lasting impression and a sense of suggestion," and "A preview consisting only of a long, silent take is amazing."
