To commemorate the July 24th release of "Chikawa: The Secret of the Chiikawa Island," an animated film based on Nagano's popular manga " Chiikawa ," collaboration cafes will open at "THE GUEST CAFE BY PARCO" in PARCO stores in Shibuya (Tokyo), Shinsaibashi (Osaka), and Nagoya (Aichi). The Nagoya PARCO store will reopen on September 4th on the 8th floor of the West Building, and this project will be the first event after the renovation.
The menu is based on the "Island Arc" story from the original manga that the movie is based on, and features a total of 16 items, including food inspired by meals that appear in the film, as well as desserts and drinks that recreate famous scenes. Items include "Shimajiro's Katsu Curry and Clam Soup" (1870 yen), " Chiikawa Shaved Ice" (1870 yen), "Hachiware's Tropical Mousse" (1980 yen), and "Rabbit's Binyoyo Pancakes" (1980 yen). Reservations are prioritized for the cafe. Takeout does not require a reservation.
As a special treat for visiting the cafe, customers will receive an original design paper placemat featuring the characters. For every drink ordered, customers will receive one character-designed coaster (14 designs in total) at random.
The adjoining merchandise shop also sells items such as "Island Ramen Bowl" (3080 yen), "Island Jiro's Clam Soup Bowl" (1100 yen), and name stickers (400 yen).
