It Mononoke been announced that, as a limited-time visitor bonus for the seventh week of the theatrical release of " Mononoke : The Movie - Chapter 3: Serpent God," the final chapter of the completely new theatrical film trilogy based on the popular TV anime " Mononoke, " "Life-size! Medicine Seller's Talisman (Black) <Sword of the South> <Sword of Separation>" will be distributed starting July 10th. The talismans are life-size reproductions of the Medicine Seller's exorcism tools. Two types will be distributed randomly: the Medicine Seller's Sword of the South (Medicine Seller of the South) talisman from the movie and the Medicine Seller's Sword of Separation (Medicine Seller of Separation) talisman from the TV series.
"Mononoke: The Movie" is set in the Ooku (women's quarters of Edo Castle), a place swirling with the passions of women, and follows a medicine seller as he tries to uncover the true identity of the "Mononoke." The first chapter, "Karakasa," was released in July 2024, the second chapter, "Hinezumi," in March 2025, and the third chapter, "Hebigami," was released on May 29th.
"Mononoke" is an anime produced by the same staff who worked on the popular episode "Bakeneko" from "Ayakashi," which aired on Fuji TV's Noitamina anime block in 2006. It aired on Noitamina in 2007. The story depicts a supernatural tale in which the medicine seller who appeared in "Bakeneko" confronts a Mononoke.
A new project for the "Mononoke" series has been announced, and the unveiling of Ken no Ken (Ken's Medicine Seller), a third medicine seller, has also generated buzz. Completely new novels featuring each of the three medicine sellers—Li, Kun, and Ken—as the main characters will be released by Kadokawa Bunko (KADOKAWA).
