The 10th episode of the NHK Taiga drama "BROTHERS IN ARMS (Toyotomi Brothers!)", starring actor Taiga Nakano (NHK General, Sundays at 8 PM, etc.), titled "Nobunaga's Entry into Kyoto," will air on March 15th. As the subtitle suggests, this episode marks the beginning of the drama's third chapter, "The Nobunaga's Entry into Kyoto Arc."
"BROTHERS IN ARMS (Toyotomi Brothers!)" is the 65th Taiga drama. With Toyotomi Hidenaga (Koichiro) as the protagonist, it depicts the miraculous feat of unifying Japan together with his older brother Hideyoshi (Tokichiro) through their strong bond, a success story of dreams and hopes.
The script is written by Hiroyuki Yatsu, known for his work on "Hanzawa Naoki" (TBS) and the Asadora drama series "Ochoyan." The music is composed by Hideaki Kimura, and the narration is provided by actress Sakura Ando .
In episode 10, Nobunaga ( Masaki Suda Shun Oguri ) finally conquers Mino, and Hanbei (Masaki Suda) becomes a retainer of Fujikichiro (Sosuke Ikematsu).
Meanwhile, Akechi Mitsuhide (played by Jun Kaname) arrives in town as an envoy of Ashikaga Yoshiaki to visit Nobunaga. He asks Nobunaga to eliminate the Miyoshi clan, who had assassinated the previous shogun, and to march to Kyoto to install Yoshiaki as shogun. Nobunaga agrees to the request and makes peace by marrying his sister, Ichi (played by Aoi Miyazaki), to Asai Nagamasa ( Ayumu Nakajima Aoi Miyazaki), who would be an obstacle to Nobunaga's march to Kyoto.
Before getting married, Ichi asks Koichiro (Nakano) to do something for her...
