It has been announced that a special edition of Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi, Monday to Friday 1:00 PM) will be broadcast on March 20th from 8:10 PM to 9:54 PM (excluding some regions). Rikuryu Miura, also known as "Rikuryu," and Ryuichi Kihara, who won the gold medal in the pair figure skating event at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, will appear.
The Rikuryu pair, who came in fifth in the short program, achieved a major comeback victory by achieving the highest score in the world in free skating history, inspiring people all over Japan. This will be their first appearance on "Tetsuko's Room" in about four years, since 2022.
Kuroyanagi, who has been a fan of the Rikuryu pair, is overjoyed at their triumphant return. While praising their achievements, the program will delve into the behind-the-scenes of the Olympics, the bond between the pair, and their true selves. The pair will also provide commentary on their Olympic performances, and rare footage will also be shown.
