The variety show "Mori Kasumi's All Lies TV" (TV Asahi, Wednesdays at 2:17am except in some areas) aired late at night on March 11th. This was the second installment of "Honest Drinking While Looking at Gravure Photos," in which Mori, former NHK announcer Nakagawa Anna, Murashige Anna, and "A Masso" comedian Kano shared their honest thoughts.
When Nakagawa talked about his upbringing, saying, "I was born in Japan, but my father, who works for a trading company, took me overseas for work...", he suddenly turned to Mori, saying, "But your father is amazing."
Mori introduced her father's work, saying, "He produced a quiz show called Potential Ability Test." She continued, "People say it's great that you have a writer, but he doesn't teach me anything at all. He even opposed my entering the entertainment industry."
Furthermore, when talking about starting a social media account while she was a station announcer, she said, "TV Tokyo may seem really laid back, but its parent company is the Nikkei Shimbun. I had to convince the people at the Nikkei Shimbun, so I made a PowerPoint presentation. I had to clarify all the rights and such, otherwise they wouldn't give me the OK. If I'm going to dance to a song, I had to make sure the rights to the song were correct and that it wouldn't conflict with TV Tokyo's. I looked into everything and saw how much benefit it would bring to TV Tokyo, and it would be to TV Tokyo's benefit if I started TikTok," she said, revealing the story of how she persuaded TV Tokyo's upper management.
