It has been announced that the third season of the anime series Shuumatsu no Valkyrie, based on the battle manga currently being serialized in Monthly Comic Zenon (Core Mix), entitled Shuumatsu no Valkyrie III, will begin airing on TOKYO MX, MBS, and other stations on April 3rd. The third season has been available on Netflix since October 2025, and will now also be broadcast on television.
The fourth promotional video has been released on YouTube, showcasing the fighters' fierce battles to date and the action from rounds 7, 8, and 9. Character posters of fighters appearing in rounds 7, 8, and 9, including Hades and Qin Shi Huang, have also been released.
"Record of Ragnarok" is a manga illustrated by Ajichika, written by Umemura Shinya, and written by Fukui Takumi, and began serialization in Monthly Comic Zenon in 2017. Representatives of the gods and humans from around the world compete in 13 one-on-one battles. The comic has sold over 18 million copies in total.
The first season of the anime began streaming on Netflix in June 2021, episodes 1-10 of the first part of the second season, "Record of Ragnarok II," began streaming in January 2023, and episodes 11-15 of the second part began streaming in July of the same year.
