The 17th episode of the popular detective drama "Aibou Season 24" (TV Asahi, Wednesdays at 9pm), starring Yutaka Mizutani and Yasufumi Terawaki, titled "The Buds of Evil", will be broadcast on February 25th. Guest appearances will include Orakio and Shinichi Fukumoto.
Kaoru (Terawaki Yasufumi), who had come to pay his respects to a deceased manga artist, receives a blow to the head on his way home and loses consciousness. Ukyo (Mizutani Yutaka), who investigated the scene, points out the possibility that it was intentional. He begins an investigation into the manga artist's death.
The late author was reportedly in talks of cancelling the series. The editor-in-chief who approached him was known for being very two-faced. Meanwhile, someone who had been helping with the series' production is claiming rights to the inheritance of the copyright.
When they ask Yuda (Orakio), the editor in charge, about the situation, he says that there is even talk of changing the original author to that person and continuing the serialization. Ukyo and Kaoru head out to find out the truth, and there they encounter "a certain incident." An eerie shadow appears and disappears behind them, as if controlling the entire series of events. Who is the true identity of the person pulling the strings behind the scenes...?!
The script was written by Tokunaga Tomihiko and the director was Tamura Kozo.
