It has been announced that a special screening event for "INTO THE GRANDLINE," season 2 of the Hollywood live-action drama series based on Eiichiro Oda's popular manga "ONE PIECE," which is currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), will be held on March 10th. The one-day event, titled "ONE PIECE: INTO THE GRAND LINE - FAN EVENT," will screen the first and second episodes of season 2.
It was also announced that a special video exclusive to the event will be screened. Messages to the audience will be shown from Inaki Godoy, who voices Monkey D. Luffy, and original author Oda. Stickers featuring the Season 2 title logo will be distributed as a gift to attendees.
The trailer for the Japanese dubbed version has been released on YouTube. The video captures a glimpse of the adventures of Season 2, featuring the mysterious beauty Miss All Sunday and the members of the secret criminal enterprise Baroque Works. It also depicts the encounter with Tony Tony Chopper on "Winter Island" Drum Island.
The live-action drama will be produced by Hollywood's Tomorrow Studios, which is responsible for TV dramas such as "Cowboy Bebop" and "Snowpiercer," with original author Oda serving as executive producer.
Season 1 has been available on Netflix since August 2023. Season 2 will be available from March 10th. A third season has also been confirmed.
