It has been announced that a special program in which actors Michiko Hada and Ayame Goriki enjoy a grown-up girls' trip, "Cheers with Local Sake! Tipsy Friendship Trip 2," will be broadcast on BS TV Tokyo from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on February 24th.
The two, who became close friends after appearing together on stage, call each other "Mii-chan" and "Meimei." The Shinshu trip broadcast last September garnered a great response, and a second series has been announced. This time, the two-day, one-night trip will take them from Fukui to Kanazawa, enjoying the winter flavors and local sake unique to the Hokuriku region.
Start your trip at Tojinbo, a scenic spot in Fukui with its rough waves, and enjoy local soba noodles and visit Fukui City's oldest sake brewery. In Kanazawa, head to the lively Omicho Market, where you can enjoy shopping and local delicacies such as Kanazawa oden.
Haneda reflected, "We started off at Tojinbo, where we were warmly welcomed (?), then the food was delicious, the hot springs were nice, and the people were friendly... Over these two days we saw beautiful scenery, had some delicious alcohol, and were very well-fed. Meimei and I have a lot in common, so it's really easy traveling together again, just like last time. It was another fun trip."
Goriki also said, "It was really fun. It was my first time sightseeing in both Fukui and Ishikawa, and I came to see the snowy scenery, so next time I'd like to enjoy the scenery and food in a different season. I want to come again! I discovered a new side of "Mii-chan" after she drank alcohol, and I love her even more now."
