The drama series "DREAM STAGE" (TBS, Friday 10pm) starring actor Nakamura Tomoya has released the synopsis and stills for episode 6, which will air on February 20th.
"To survive, we must get first place," they thought, as they took on the debut rankings with grim determination. However, NAZE lost to TORINNER. Past data shows that groups that don't get first place with their debut song will disappear within a few years, and this weighs heavily on TEAM NAZE...
Azuma (Nakamura) bows his head and says, "It's my fault that we didn't win. I'm sorry." Yoongi listens in amazement to Azuma's words, "If you don't want to waste your life as a loser, you can choose another way of life." In fact, Yoongi had made a promise with his father, Shin-yang (Choi Jin-ho), who is against his pursuit of a showbiz career, that he would quit showbiz if he didn't get first place.
Shin-yang is the president of several companies and sternly tells Yoon-gi, "I told you there's no way someone like you could become an idol." He then tries to hand over the management of the Japanese branch to his son, Yoon-gi, saying, "If you don't want to fail in life, do as I say."
While the other members and Mercury (Elaiza Ikeda) are positive about trying again to beat TORINNER, Yoongi decides to leave NAZE. After their final live performance, Yoongi tells the members, "I'm quitting NAZE today," and leaves, saying things that are deliberately meant to make them dislike him, such as, "There's no future in teaming up with these worthless people. I'm telling you, I can't play around anymore!"
Meanwhile, the other members are outraged, saying, "It was just a game," and "We've been disappointed in you." Azuma consults with Yoongi's father to see if there's any way to get him back into the group, but an unexpected secret comes to light...
This is a K-pop version of a sports drama in which Jun Azuma (played by Nakamura), a genius music producer who was once expelled from the industry for causing trouble, and seven dropout trainees from a small Korean entertainment agency form a boy band called "NAZE," and pursue their dreams together, transcending generations and nationalities.
