A newly drawn illustration of the storage box for the "New Mobile Report Gundam Wing Endless Waltz Special Edition 4K Remaster Box," a 4K remaster box for the theatrical version of the anime "New Mobile Report Gundam Wing Endless Waltz," has been released. The front side features Wing Gundam Zero flapping its wings, while the back side features Wing Gundam Zero Cloaked Custom, which appeared in the 30th anniversary video "New Mobile Report Gundam Wing -Operation 30th-," holding a beam sabre.
The special bonus booklet will include an interview with director Yasunao Aoki, a conversation between director Toru Iwasawa, who worked on the 30th anniversary video, and character designer Sakura Asagi, as well as original drawings of the characters and mobile suits from the 30th anniversary video. It will be released on March 25th.
"Mobile Suit Gundam Wing" was broadcast from 1995 to 1996 as the second installment of the "Alternative Series." It depicts the battles of five young Gundam pilots. It was also the first Gundam series to be broadcast in the United States. "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz" is a sequel to "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing," produced as an original video animation (OVA) in 1997, with three episodes. The "Special Edition" is a theatrical version that re-edits all three OVA episodes and adds new parts, and was released in August 1998.
