28-year-old model UTA will make his first appearance on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), airing on June 29th at 1 PM. He grew up in a show business family; his father is actor Masahiro Motoki Motoki, his mother is essayist Yayako Uchida, his grandfather was rock singer Yuya Uchida, and his grandmother was actress Kirin Kiki. The tall and handsome UTA will talk about his respect for his great family and his own journey of challenges.
UTA talks about his daily life at home, where he called his grandfather "Yuya" without any honorifics, his deep bond with his grandmother who taught him about the Japanese spirit through the "Iroha" poem, and his experience studying abroad at a prestigious Swiss school, where he went with his grandmother to complete the enrollment procedures.
