As part of Sunrise's 50th anniversary project, a key visual featuring 50 titles selected from over 500 titles has been released. The project commemorates the 50th anniversary in 2027 of the television anime "Invincible Super Man Zambot 3," which began airing in 1977, and it was also announced that a short film project, "A Voyage to the Future," has been launched.
The visuals feature characters from "Invincible Super Man Zambot 3," "Mobile Suit Gundam," "Space Runaway Space Runaway Ideon," "Armored Trooper Votoms," "Mashin Hero Wataru," "Ronin Warriors," "Cowboy Bebop," "Code Geass Code Geass ," "TIGER & BUNNY," "Aikatsu!", and " Love Live!".
"A Voyage to the Future" will produce six original 3DCG animated films. The common theme of the works is "the future," and SUNRISE Studios will take the lead, collaborating with six other production studios to create six short animated films. Two works have been announced: "Haseo Sugoroku" produced by SUNRISE Studios and "Metafear" produced by YAMATOWORKS. "Haseo Sugoroku" will be directed by Shuichi Ohara, and "Metafear" will be directed by Shuhei Morita.
