Actress Wan Marui will appear on the two-hour special of the talk variety show "Ueda to onna ga hoeru yoru" (Nippon Television Network) airing on June 17th.
Marui, who gained attention for her role in the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake," revealed the origin of her stage name, saying, "I'm extremely short-tempered. I used to be very sharp, so my agency wanted me to mellow out and that's how I got the name ' Wan Marui'!" This surprised MC Shinya Ueda and others.
