The final episode of the TBS Sunday drama "GIFT," starring actor Shinichi Tsutsumi, aired on June 14th. Keijiro's (Kyohei Honda) rapid growth in a short period of time, and the way his character mirrored that of the deceased Ryo (Yuki Yamada), made for a powerful finale that deeply moved viewers.

Following Ryo's death, the Bulls vs. Sharks final was almost canceled, but it was decided to go ahead on the condition that Gotetsu (Tsutsumi) resign. Some Bulls players considered forfeiting, but Keijiro encouraged them, saying, "He (Ryo) is waiting on the court. Only those who want to fight with him should come."
Carrying Ryo's hopes on their shoulders, Keijiro and his teammates went into the match, but the Sharks were in the lead. However, thanks to the fans' pleas, Gotetsu was allowed to enter the arena, and the Bulls began to catch up. When the score narrowed to a one-point difference, the image of Ryo was superimposed on Keijiro, who was desperately driving his "rugby wheelchair" on screen. Gotetsu felt Ryo's "presence" and shed tears.
