The key visual for the sequel to the popular TBS Sunday drama "VIVANT," starring actor Masato Sakai, which will begin airing on July 26th (Sundays at 9 PM), has been released. The visual features a vast sky and desert, essential elements for representing the world of the drama, with Yusuke Nogi (Sakai) and Public Security officer Nozaki (Hiroshi Abe) standing majestically on the sand, gazing somewhere in the distance.
This film opens immediately after the last scene of the previous film. Just as Nogi returns from a series of missions involving the international terrorist organization "Tent," he sees a red steamed bun placed in a shrine.
It was a signal announcing an emergency summons for the other unit. What exactly was happening behind the scenes on the day Yusuke fired a bullet at his father and tent leader, Nogorn Beki (Koji Yakusho), and on the day he reunited with Kaoru (Fumi Nikaido) and Jameen and embraced them tightly? The truth will be revealed in the first episode of the sequel.
It was also revealed that a screening of the first season will be held at the Tokyo International Forum (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo) on July 25th. A fan meeting will be held in August, and an interactive event will be held in September.
