The newly drawn illustrations to be used as purchase bonuses for the Koyoharu Gotouge -ray disc (BD) and DVD of the new theatrical film " Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Yaiba the Movie - Infinity Castle Arc Chapter 1: Akaza's Return," based on the popular manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, have been revealed. The illustrations, drawn by ufotable, the animation studio, feature Tanjiro Kamado& Giyu Tomioka, Shinobu Kocho, and Zenitsu Agatsuma. The BD and DVD will be released on July 29th.
"The Infinity Castle Arc : Akaza's Return" was released on July 18, 2025, in 452 theaters, surpassing the scale of "The Mugen Train," which was released in 2020 and became the highest-grossing film in Japanese history with approximately 40.4 billion yen in box office revenue. The TV anime "Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc" aired from April to September 2019, and the theatrical film "Mugen Train" was released in October 2020. "Entertainment District Arc" aired from December 2021 to February 2022, "Swordsmith Village Arc" from April to June 2023, and "Hashira Training Arc" from May to June 2024. "Infinity Castle Arc" is a trilogy, with "Chapter 1" released on July 18, 2025.
