A special game variety show, "Jan Oni!!!", in which three teams compete in a game of tag for the grand prize, will air on Fuji TV's "Saturday Premium" slot (Saturdays at 9 PM) on June 13th. The show will be hosted by Nobu from the comedy duo "Chidori" and Ryohei Abe from the popular group "Snow Man". This will be Abe's first time hosting a prime-time variety show.
In the show, a total of 24 players are divided into three teams: "Rock," "Scissors," and "Paper." Under the rules of rock-paper-scissors, "Rock" tries to catch "Scissors," "Scissors" tries to catch "Paper," and "Paper" tries to catch "Rock." A player who is caught freezes and cannot move until a teammate comes to their rescue.
One moment you're the one doing the chasing, and the next you're the one being chased. You need not only the "physical strength" to escape, but also the "brains" to survive. Each player starts the game with a prize of 50,000 yen. Players who catch a player get to keep all of their money. The team with the most total prize money at the end of the game wins.
During the game, "betrayal missions" and "elimination missions" will be triggered. Which players will commit acts of betrayal? In place of the team eliminated in the elimination mission, a group of "super athletes" led by former Japanese track and field representative Kenji Fujimitsu will take over.

The "Strongest Female Sports Team," the only team composed entirely of women, demonstrates superior teamwork and strategic thinking. They hide in buildings and utilize radio communication within the team to corner the male contestants. The studio is buzzing with excitement as they resemble ninjas.
After the recording, MC Abe commented, "I discovered that so much human drama can be born from just one game, and there were so many different developments in the climax that I couldn't take my eyes off it. The rules are simple, based on rock-paper-scissors, so children can easily imitate it, and I think it will become popular."
He appealed to viewers, saying, "The situation of 'rock, paper, scissors' changes moment by moment, so I think people who like 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms' will definitely enjoy it. The rules are simple as it's based on rock-paper-scissors, but it's a show that is packed with the realities of human nature, so I would like as many people of all ages as possible to watch it."
