The key visual for the final chapter of "Love Live! Love Live! High School Idol Club: The Final Chapter," the theatrical anime film based on the popular "Love Live!" series, has been released. The image depicts the 12 school idols walking forward, with Takasaki Yu watching their backs, accompanied by the tagline, "The excitement will last forever -- Let's go! Towards the future of the rainbow." The dance costumes for Asaka Karin and Nakasu Kasumi have also been revealed.
"Nijigasaki High School Idol Club" started its activities in 2017, following in the footsteps of "μ's" from "Love Live!" and "Aqours" from "Love Live! Sunshine!!". The story depicts the daily activities of the members of the school idol club at Nijigasaki High School, a private high school in Odaiba, Tokyo, as they strive to become the number one school idols, sometimes as rivals and sometimes as friends.
The first season of the TV anime aired from October to December 2020, and the second season aired from April to June 2022. A new episode, the OVA (Original Video Animation) "Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club NEXT SKY," was released in theaters in June 2023. The first chapter of the "final chapter" was released on September 6, 2024, and the second chapter on November 7, 2025. The third chapter will be released "this winter."
