This week's new releases feature information on newly published comics. Approximately 360 major comic titles will be released between June 15th and 20th. These include the regular and special editions with masking tape of volume 22 of " The Apothecary Diaries ~ Maomao's Imperial Court Mystery Solving Notebook~," a comic adaptation of the popular light novel "The Apothecary Diaries," which is serialized in "Sunday GX" (Shogakukan); volume 71 of the long-running shojo manga "Crest of the Royal Family," the first new volume in about two years; volume 39 of "Blue Lock," which is also generating buzz due to the upcoming live-action film release in August; volume 46 of "Rent-A-Girlfriend," whose fifth season of the TV anime is currently airing; and volume 29 of Rumiko Takahashi's latest work, "MAO."
June 15th will see the release of volumes 6 of "The Woman Who Wants to Make and the Woman Who Wants to Eat," which has also been adapted into a popular live-action drama, and volume 27 of "Dropkick on My Devil!," which has also been adapted into an anime.
June 16th will see the release of volume 71 of "The Royal Family's Emblem," among other things.
June 17th will see the release of several manga series from "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha), including "Blue Lock" volume 39, "Rent-A-Girlfriend Girlfriend" volume 46, "YOWAYOWA TEACHER" volume 18, "Orion's Board" volume 10, and "A Couple of Cuckoos" volume 33. Other releases include "Rent-A-Girlfriend " volume 10 by Reiji Miyajima Miyajima ("Rent-A-Girlfriend"), "Dead Account" volume 15 by Shizumu Watanabe (known for "Real Account"), and "Mutsu Enmei-ryu Ikaiden Shura no Mon Mutsu-san wa Cho Tsuyoi?!" volume 18, a spin-off comedy of Masatoshi Kawahara's popular fighting manga series "Shura".
June 18th will see the release of the regular and special editions of volume 22 of "The Apothecary Diaries: Maomao 'The Apothecary Diaries Imperial Palace Mystery Solving Notebook," volume 29 of "MAO," as well as "Demon Gentleman BT," a one-shot depicting 60 years after Hirohiko Hirohiko Araki's debut serialized work "Demon Boy BT," volume 4 of "Märchen Crown," drawn by Aka Akasaka, Aoi Kujira, and the manga artist unit "Ajichika," and volume 16 of Sui Ishida's "Superhuman X."
Other releases include volume 7 of "Mobile Suit Gundam Last Horizon," a comic adaptation of the popular anime "Gundam" series; volume 24 of "Mobile Suit Gundam Aggressor"; volume 9 of "COSMOS" by Ryuhei Tamura, known for works such as "Beelzebub"; volume 19 of "The Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi," which was adapted into a TV anime; volume 36 of "Tonikaku Kawaii"; volume 27 of "Ryu to Ichigo, " which ended its approximately six-year run in June; volume 117 of the long-running mahjong manga "Tenpai"; and volume 59 of "Sake no Hosomichi" by Roswell Hosoki, which has a sake theme.
On June 19th, several manga titles will be available in stores, including " Saint Seiya Saint Seiya Sho Memories" Volume 2 (a spin-off of Masami Kurumada 's popular manga "Saint Seiya"), " Saint Seiya : Rebirth of Poseidon" Volume 4, "Saint Seiya Mariya" Volume 3, "Dustland" Volume 1 (the legitimate sequel to Hiroshi Takahashi's popular delinquent manga series "Crows" and "Worst"), "A Egao no Taenai Shokuba Desu" Volume 15 (which has been adapted into a TV anime), "Tamon's B-Side" Volume 16, "GTO Paradise Lost Kai" Volume 23 (a re-edited and revised version of the "Paradise Lost Arc" from the "GTO" series by the author Toru Fujisawa), "Hotaru no Yomeiri" Volume 12 (which will have a TV anime adaptation airing from October), and "Skip Beat!" Volume 53 (a popular manga by Yoshiki Nakamura).
