The final episode of the NTV drama series "Tsukiyo Koro - The Answer Lies in Masterpieces -" (Wednesdays at 10 PM), starring Haru and Kumiko Aso, aired on June 10th. The episode featured a scene in which Luna (Haru) and her estranged father, Eisuke (Ryo Ishibashi), finally meet, which garnered a lot of attention on social media.

Luna's father, Eisuke, had rejected her dream of becoming a novelist, and they had been estranged for over 15 years. When Luna heard that her father had been rushed to the hospital, she rushed to his room with encouragement from Ryoko (Aso). However, her father then disappeared from the hospital. Eisuke could not be found even by nightfall, but he was later discovered passed out drunk at Luna's bar.
The search for the password to unlock the "secret" hidden on the computer was reaching its climax. The only clues were the cover of the first edition of Natsume Soseki's "I Am a Cat" displayed on the desktop and the information that it was a "sequence of numbers with four or more digits." Then, Luna and Ryoko noticed a crucial hint and finally deciphered it. What was written there were reviews of all the books Luna had published so far. Seeing this, Luna and Ryoko realized that Eisuke had read all the books Luna had published up to that point.
Later, Luna finally goes to see her father, Eisuke, in his hospital room. There, Luna tells him that she would be troubled if he were to disappear before he could praise her novel, and she further confesses her feelings, saying, "Even if you don't praise me, even if you hate me... I want you to stay in this world." Then, calling Eisuke "Dad," she asks with tears in her eyes, "Can I... stay in this world too?" Hearing this, Eisuke nods and says, "Of course," and smiles, gently stroking Luna's head and saying, "Welcome back."
On social media, there was an outpouring of emotion over the scene where Luna and Eisuke, who had been at odds for many years, repaired their relationship. Comments such as "It's so touching!", "I can't stop crying", "The 'welcome home' scene made me cry", "I'm bawling my eyes out", and "The parent patting her head made me cry" flooded in, generating a lot of buzz.
