The eighth episode of the TBS Friday drama "Takusari Brothers" (Fridays at 10 PM), starring actor Masaki Okada and also featuring Shota Sometani, aired on June 5th, and the gun that appeared at the end of the episode has sparked much speculation.

In that episode, Mogi (Takashi Yamanaka), nicknamed "Mocchan," visits Minoru's (Sometani) house, takes a handgun from inside the robot, and delivers it to Fumi Karashima (Atsuko Sendo). Mogi trembles and says, "It's all over..." Fumi replies, "It happened over 30 years ago. There are no records left, so there's no way you'd know. It's okay. Everyone's happiness won't change," and takes Mogi's hand.
Then, a package arrives for Minoru from Mogi. When Makoto (Okada) receives the package and checks its contents, he finds a handgun and a piece of paper that looks like a memo... At the same time, a body is found in Kanazawa Ward. The body is Mogi's, and when Minoru confirms it, he quietly cries, "Mocchan?"
On social media, various comments have been made, such as, "Why did the gun come back?!", "Returning the gun is like proof that he's on the brothers' side", "They must have given Karashima a fake gun", "I don't know. Is it the same? Or a different one?", "Is this the same gun?", and "I wonder what's written on the note that came with the returned gun..."
