A new promotional video has been released for the TV anime "Kore Kaite Shine," based on the manga by Minoru Toyoda, which has been making headlines for winning the Manga Taisho 2023 and the 70th Shogakukan Manga Award. The video mainly features the episode "Lost World," which depicts the past of Rei Teshima, a teacher at the high school attended by the protagonist, Ai Yasumi, who was dedicated to creating manga. The video also features Hana Kongoji, the manga editor who was in charge of Teshima's work, and Hebichika, the manga artist who created "Sweet Hebiichigo," a series that has sold millions of copies.
It was also announced that the band "Regal Lily" will be in charge of the ending theme (ED) "Conifer," and the song was unveiled in a PV. Honoka Takahashi, the vocalist and guitarist of "Regal Lily," commented, "Teachers, students, things they have seen, scenery they will see in the future—each has a different perspective, but we have created a work that captures the sound we heard from the energy that is born through the same manga. I hope it can be a song that can give a push forward, whether it's at night when you are facing something alone, in the quietness when morning comes, or of course during the day."
Kai, the bassist for "Legal Lily," said, "When you're engrossed in something, your mind is a jumble, and you don't know why. But it's undeniably fun. It reminded me of how I felt the first time I made music with someone. To move forward, you have to draw, to face forward, you have to do it. I am very honored to be involved in such a wonderful work that transcends the boundaries of manga and allows you to experience both the joys and hardships of creation. No matter what episode it is, I hope that in the end, a pleasant breeze gently envelops these lovable girls. I would be happy if it could be such an ending."
