Actress Nozomi Tsuji will appear on the cover of the summer 2026 issue of the parenting magazine "Hiyoko Club" (Benesse Corporation), which will be released on May 15th, along with her fifth child, Yumea, who was born last August. This will be Yumea's first appearance on a magazine cover. The issue will also include an interview with Tsuji, in which she talks about giving birth and raising her child for the first time in seven years.
In the interview, she reflected on the photoshoot, saying, "It was our first time doing a photoshoot as a family, so I was really looking forward to it, and I think Yumeko enjoyed it too. It turned out to be a wonderful book with a lovely cover, a memorable keepsake for our family!"
Regarding raising her fifth child, she said, "I now feel like she's my grandchild, and even her nighttime crying is cute (laughs). People tend to think that I'm a veteran because I have five children, but there's been a seven-year gap since my last child, so it's no different from when I had my first. I'm going back to basics and raising my children from scratch."
She also offered words of encouragement to readers who are raising children, saying, "Just when you've started introducing solid foods to your baby, everyone in a large family gets sick and it has to be interrupted, and every day is hectic. I'm sure you all have your share of difficult and fun times, but let's stay healthy and do our best together!"
The Tamahiyo official YouTube channel has released a video in which Ms. Tsuji answers interview questions while holding Yumeku-chan.
