The fourth episode of the TV Asahi drama series "The Cheated Husband with 3 Months to Live" (Fridays at 11:15 PM, excluding some regions), starring actor Jin Shirasu, will air on May 15th.
Mizuki (Hinako Sakurai), who dreams of a new life with Kenji (Mitsunori Takahashi), is desperate to remove her son Ren's (Koshiro Ono) name from the list of beneficiaries of the inheritance and have it rewritten to be just her, and she urges Aoi (Shirasu) to do so, but when it doesn't go as planned, she becomes frustrated.
Having decided to put her new plan into action, Mizuki invites Aoi's father, Tatsuo (Kazuhiko Nishimura), and mother, Keiko (Yuki Funaki), to her home. However, instead of showing concern for Aoi's health, Tatsuo aggressively pressures Mizuki to change the beneficiary of the inheritance to just Mizuki and entrust her with Ren's life. Overwhelmed with anger and sadness, Aoi raises her voice and chases her parents away.
Upon learning of Mizuki's wicked scheme, Aoi feels intense anger, wondering what will happen to Ren if she is gone. That night, Aoi learns about Kenji's shocking past from a report by the investigation company. However, contrary to her anxious feelings, her health deteriorates. Aoi confides in her colleague Fujino Mari (Yua Shinkawa Yua) about the dilemma of not being able to move as she wishes and her anxieties. Mari then tries to encourage Aoi by sharing her own harrowing experiences.
Convinced that she could never entrust Ren to Mizuki and Kenji after she was gone, Aoi planted a GPS tracker in Mizuki's smartphone to obtain conclusive evidence of the affair. However, what was revealed was a truth even more shocking than the affair itself.
