It has been announced that a new short story written by the original author, Tsutomu Satou, titled "The Irregular at Magic High School: Alien EX," will be distributed starting May 16th as a second-week attendance bonus for the theatrical anime "The Irregular at The Irregular at Magic High School The Irregular at Magic High School : Yotsuba Succession Arc," based on the popular light novel series from Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA). In the story, Tatsuya, Erika, and Leo storm an alien hideout. The new short story will be distributed over the first four weeks.
It was also announced that audio guides for the visually impaired and Japanese subtitles for the hearing impaired, using the "HELLO! MOVIE" format, will be available from May 22nd.
" The Irregular at Magic High School" is set at the First High School Affiliated with the National Magic University (Magic High School), which trains magic users, and depicts the adventures of siblings Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba. The series has sold over 25 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired in 2014, and the theatrical anime film "The Irregular at Magic High School: The Girl Who Summons the Stars" was released in 2017. The second season of the TV anime, "The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc," aired in 2020, and "The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc" aired on January 1, 2022. The third season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2024. "The Irregular at Magic High School: Yotsuba Succession Arc" was released on May 8.
