Photographer, film director, and contemporary artist Mika Ninagawa, known for her unique use of vibrant colors, will appear on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi) on May 13th at 1 PM.
Her father is stage director Yukio Ninagawa, and her mother is Hiroko Ninagawa, a leading quilt artist. It is said that her artistic sensibilities were nurtured from a young age under the guidance of such parents. The program will showcase her photographs and spatial art from exhibitions, and will also unravel the secrets behind her creative process.
His sons are 18 and 10 years old. He says he takes them to his studios and exhibitions as much as possible, and hopes that they will follow in his footsteps and become artists in the future.
