To commemorate the conclusion of the "Rascal Does Not Dream Does Not Dream of Dear Rascal Does Not Dream" anime film series, the seventh memorial visual featuring the heroine has been released. The visual depicts Kaede Azusagawa and is accompanied by the tagline, "I want to leave behind lots of memories that will make people smile." The eighth visual will be released on May 17th at 8 PM.
The "Rascal Does Not Dream" series is a light novel written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keiji Mizoguchi, with "adolescent syndrome," a condition that occurs during adolescence, as its key theme. The original novels have sold over 3 million copies in total.
The TV anime "Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai" aired from October to December 2018. The theatrical anime "Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl" was released in June 2019, "Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid" was released on December 1st of the same year.
