It has been announced that McDonald's Happy Meal, a collaboration between Nagano's popular manga "Chiikawa" and McDonald's children's menu "Happy Meal," will be released as "Happy Meal ' Chiikawa'." The first release will be on May 15th, and the second release will be on May 29th.
Chiikawa comes with a pencil topper featuring Chiikawa and friends dressed as McDonald's managers and crew members (8 types in total). The first series includes Chiikawa(McDonald's Manager), Hachiware (Delivery Crew), Kurimanju (McCafé by Barista), and Rakko (Delivery Crew). The second series will feature Usagi (McDonald's Crew), Momonga (Hospitality Leader), Furuhonya (McDonald's Crew), and Shisa (McDonald's Manager).
To purchase the "Happy Meal ' Chiikawa'" on May 15th and May 29th, the two days of release, a purchase voucher distributed via the official McDonald's app will be required. There will be a limit of four meals per person during both the breakfast and regular menu hours. Sales will be limited to McDonald's stores (manned registers, touch-panel ordering terminals), mobile orders, and drive-thrus; sales will be suspended for McDonald's delivery service and other delivery services.
From May 16th to 28th and from May 30th to June 11th, while presenting a purchase voucher from the official McDonald's app is not required, sales will be limited to 4 items per group per transaction. Sales will be available at McDonald's stores (manned registers, touch-panel ordering terminals), mobile ordering, drive-thru, and McDonald's delivery service; sales through other delivery services will be suspended.
The "Happy Meal 'Transform! McDonald's Robot'," "Happy Meal Book 'Swimmy'," and "Happy Meal Book 'Transportation Vehicles'" will also be available for a limited time starting May 15th.
