The first episode of "What Happened After the War?", a 30th-anniversary program for "After War Gundam X, " a popular anime series in the "Gundam" franchise, has been released on the Gundam YouTube channel and other platforms. Wataru Takagi , who voices Garrod Ran , and Mika Kanai, who voices Tiffa Adill, appeared in the episode, and a message from director Shinji Takamatsu was also released.
Director Takamatsu commented, "Thirty years ago, amidst the chaos and despair, the cast and crew poured their hearts and souls into creating this film, and I am deeply grateful that it continues to remain in everyone's hearts for so long. Garrod, who lived honestly and resiliently in the harsh and desolate post-war environment, was truly our beacon of hope. Even as times change, if the feelings we poured into this film are reaching someone somewhere, that would be the greatest joy. I hope you will continue to love this film in the future."
The program also launched a segment using 3D models of Lord Ran and Tiffa Adill. Takagi and Kanai operated the 3D models and delivered famous lines, "I'll sell Gundam!" and "I'll give you my strength..." The 3D models were also used in "GXNEWS," which introduces the latest information, and in the segment "I'll give you my strength when you're tired," in which Tiffa speaks to people who are feeling down.
" After War Gundam X" aired from April to December 1996 as the third installment of the Alternative series.
