The fourth episode of the Tuesday drama "Toki Sude ni Osushi!?" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10 PM), starring actress Shiori Doi, aired on April 28th. Shiori Doi appeared as Mio, the ex-wife of sushi academy instructor Kaito Oedo, played by Kenichi Matsuyama. The two previously co-starred in the NHK Asadora drama "The Tiger and Her Wings" (to be aired in 2024), and fans of the Asadora expressed their delight at their reunion.

In "The Tiger and Her Wings," Matsuyama played Toichiro Katsuraba, a judge and senior colleague of the protagonist Torako (Sairi Ito), while Doi played Yone Yamada, a lawyer who is Torako's classmate and dresses as a man.
In episode 4, Mio suddenly showed up at Oedo's house. When Kamiya cautiously half-opened the door, Mio pulled it closer, tripping over it, and complained, "Stop opening it halfway." Then she said, "Please take care of this dog. There's somewhere I absolutely have to go," and practically forced her pug into Kamiya's arms.
When Kaito asks, "What about the pet hotel where we left him before?", Mio simply replies, "It went out of business." Kaito asks, "What about other places?", but Mio, with a displeased expression, dismisses him, "Look, do you think we have the time to search for a trustworthy pet hotel from scratch in this limited time?" She then adds in a firm tone, "You absolutely must connect a pet camera," and when Kaito shakes his head in beg for mercy, she says, "Being technologically challenged or anything like that is no excuse," before walking away.
Social media was buzzing with comments like, "Kenichi Shiori Doi and Shiori Doi are totally The Tiger and Her Wings'", "It's The Tiger and Her Wings duo", "It's so exciting that Doi and Matsuyama from ' The Tiger and Her Wings' are co-starring in 'Toki Sude ni Osushi!?'", and "I never thought that Katsuraba Toyone from The Tiger and Her Wings would be playing ex-husband and wife in the Reiwa era".
The drama tells the story of Minato Machiyama (played by Nagasaku), who, having finished raising her children, is bewildered by the "time to herself" that she finally has again at the age of 50, but begins her second life and jumps into a "sushi academy" where she can become a sushi chef in three months.
