It has been announced that the second part of " Sound! Euphonium: The Final Movement," a theatrical film adaptation of "Sound ! Sound! Euphonium ! Sound! Euphonium " based on the novel by Ayano Takeda , will be released on September 11th. " Sound! Euphonium," which has continued for approximately 11 years since the start of the first TV anime season in 2015, will conclude with the second part of "The Final Movement." A trailer and the first key visual for the second part have also been released.
The trailer focuses on the protagonist, Kumiko Oumae, and her rival, Mayu Kuroe, expressing their struggles and determination as they prepare for their "final performance." New footage is also available, including shots of the brass band club executives looking up at the Nagoya International Conference Center Century Hall, the venue for the national competition.
The first key visual depicts Kumiko and Mayu playing the euphonium, accompanied by the tagline, "Unwavering feelings, an unshakeable vow."
"Sound! Euphonium" is set in the brass band club of Kitauji High School and depicts the growth of the band members, including euphonium player Kumiko Oumae. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2015, the second season from October to December 2016, and the third season from April to July 2024. "The Final Movement" is a polished version of cuts from the third season of the TV anime, with many new scenes added. The first part will be released on April 24th.
