It has been revealed that Ren Meguro of the popular group "Snow Man" will be returning to Japan from Canada, where he is currently filming for an extended period, in order to attend stage greetings for the movie "SAKAMOTO DAYS" (directed by Yuichi Fukuda, opening April 29th), in which he stars. He is scheduled to attend the stage greetings on April 29th and 30th.
At the opening day stage greeting on the 29th, in addition to Meguro, the cast members including Fumiya Takahashi, who played his partner Shin Asakura, Aya Ueto, who played his wife Aoi, Mayu Yokota, who played Lou , Junki Tozuka, who played Heisuke, and Miyu Yoshimoto, who played their only daughter Hana, will be in attendance. Director Yuichi Fukuda, who helmed the film, will also be participating. At the stage greeting on the 30th, Meguro and Takahashi, who played the buddy duo, will make an appearance.
It was also announced that, for a limited time of five days from April 29th to May 3rd, the first day of the film's release, an "original clear card" will be distributed as the first gift for moviegoers. The clear card features two sides of the card, with Meguro's portrayal of "plump Sakamoto" and "slim Sakamoto" on each side.
"SAKAMOTO DAYS" is a live-action adaptation of Yuto Suzuki's manga of the same name, which has sold over 15 million copies worldwide (including digital editions).
